|In the Josera laboratory all incoming raw materials as well as outgoing finished products are thoroughly tested under the leadership of a state recognised feed technologist. This is the only way to make certain that the raw materials meet the quality expectations of Josera and also that Josera products meet the wishes of the customers.
In the Josera laboratory, only the most modern technology is used. Alongside the standard chemical proximate analysis, the raw materials are tested for heavy metal content and traces of animal protein by Infra red and X ray spectroscopy. The microbiological tests make sure that the raw materials are free from bacterial and fungal contamination.
In Josera´s technical department trial mixtures are processed. In case of petfood these mixtures are, according to their product characteristics, tried out on a seperate extruder and products for feed trials in practice are produced.
Through close cooperation with the development department and the laboratory, this gained knowledge is further considered. This all means that the incorporation of product ideas and customer wishes is possible very rapidly.
Trials with Universities
|In order to always be on top of the latest developments, Josera works very closely together with universities and trial centres. Know How from theory and practice is exchanged along with international developments and new discoveries. These are all incorporated in Josera product development.
Beside this exchange of knowledge, feed trials play an important role. Acceptance and effects of new products can be checked in controlled trials. The results of such professional and independent trials have a considerable influence on the further development of Josera products.
Trials in practice
|The best theories in the world and the best results in trial centres mean nothing if the use of the product in practice causes complications or difficulties. Therefore new products are further tested by chosen customers and experiences are reported back to our development department.
Even a product that is on the market is not "finished". Opinions from customers ensure continual improvements in our products.
